Lily joined WCI in the Fall of 2019 as a GALS Intern, and was also a GALS Coach at Bodine High School of International Affairs in the Spring. As the GALS Program Assistant she currently assists WCI in research, planning, and evaluating the program for future semesters. Lily is a senior at Temple University double majoring in Global Studies with a focus in Security, and Spanish. On campus Lily is the President of the Global Studies Society and works in the Global Studies department as a student assistant. Her regional focus on Latin America brought her to Ecuador in the Spring of 2019 with Temple's Latin American Studies Semester where she conducted a research project on the role of women in the city of Quito. Following her passion for women's education and reproductive justice, her senior capstone was written on family planning campaigns in the Global South. Upon graduation, she hopes to continue her research in these areas and pursue her study of the Spanish language. Outside of work and class, Lily enjoys poetry, hiking, travelling, and is in the process of writing her first book.
