Allison McGirr-Crowley

GALS Kenya Program Evaluator

Allison recently joined WCI to evaluate the impact of our GALS Kenya summer 2019 program. Allison graduated with her MSW from West Chester University and has been working with marginalized communities in Philadelphia for the last two years. She is certified in trauma-informed cognitive behavioral therapy, and has experience in addressing the social determinants of health through her work at The Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center and Mercy Health System. While obtaining her degree, Allison completed proposals for comprehensive sexual education and sexual assault prevention trainings for the both the Philadelphia School District and private Philadelphia colleges. Before becoming a part of WCI, Allison conducted a full program evaluation on Philadelphia School District pre-employment transition initiviates. Allison also works as a medical social worker at Einstein Medical Center and is passionate about addressing health care disparities.
