Operating at local, national, and global levels since 1998, WCI has worked to establish and cultivate a leadership development pipeline for girls and women to effect change in more than 45 countries worldwide.

To ensure WCI is best meeting the needs of partner communities and individuals served, the organization consistently strives to be:

  1. Flexible — to adapt programming based on ongoing monitoring and evaluation results.
  2. Community Driven — to best serve the needs and meets the desires of participants.
  3. Sustainable — to emphasize skill building and training of locally-based trainers, to ensure programming can continue after WCI programs are complete.
