Your donation will continue WCI’s critical work. Women who attend WCI trainings learn the skills necessary to influence the most important issues affecting them – including access to healthcare and education, childcare and assistance to the elderly, poverty alleviation, and achieving economic equality.
Interestingly enough, however, it is not just women who benefit from female political empowerment. The research findings of development studies show effectively implemented gender-focused interventions at the community level can have substantial social benefits.
Countries which promote the rights of women and girls and increase their access to resources and schooling enjoy faster economic growth, lower poverty rates, and less corruption than countries which do not.
