Empowering Civil-Sector Leaders - India

WCI just returned from our inaugural trip to India! In collaboration with the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education and the Tata Institute for Social Sciences, we met with female community leaders and government officials as a part of our initial needs assessment for WCI's upcoming program: "Women's Leadership Development across Indian Contexts: Empowering Women Civil-Sector Leaders".

The program will integrate WCI's women's leadership training and expertise into TISS and PennGSE's professional development reform scheme. Our program will train and support female university presidents, rural businesswomen and K-12 teachers in women's professional development by bolstering their confidence and skills in business and financial management, communications, advocacy and leadership. We look forward to updating you as our India program comes to life!
