On Thursday, May 14th, WCI participated in a panel discussion at Philadelphia University City High School. The panel was part of the school’s Peace Week, a week of activities informing the students about peace and social justice organized by AmeriCorps’ City Year program. WCI sat alongside community activists, international development specialists and media producers to dicuss topics around violence, promoting peace and global challenges to social justice. The students were given the opportunity to ask questions and give comments throughout the panel and WCI is currently using their input to increase the quality of its Adolescent Outreach Program.
