Upper and middle class women in Egypt are using the internet to discuss women’s issues, voice their opinions, and tell personal stories.  In a country where women’s rights are severely limited, blogging offers an opportunity for men and women to converse as equals and to discuss topics that aren’t generally addressed in public.  Audio blogging is also a growing way for women to speak their minds while avoiding government censorship.
