On Wednesday, March 11, President Obama signed The White House Council on Women and Girls into existence. The council will be headed by Valerie Jarrett and will be comprised of the heads of all Cabinets. This group will meet regularly to ensure that women’s issues are incorporated into all policies, programs and legislation.
